I once got fired because I was taking antibiotics. The employer gave the reason to my temp agency that I was hostile. I am not a particularly angry person by nature, and most certainly wasn’t hostile. The temp agency looked into it, and replied that the problem was ‘unprofessionalism.’ I didn’t need to go any further into explaining it than that. I’ve had three successful contracts with this temp agency since then. The problem indeed was that I was taking antibiotics. It wasn’t that I disclosed this. It was probably that I never disclosed this. My flatulence from losing my gut bacteria was rancid, and I just constantly had to crank them out the two weeks I was there. The bathroom was on the other side of the warehouse, and I would have had to confine myself there if I were to go every time I had to pass gas. It was unfortunate. That employer never gave me a fair shake. It was the second worse way I was ever let go; over farting they assumed to aggressive and then just due to inappropriate social graces. My microbiome took about a month to recover. Soon into the next job, I was fine. I hope I stay in their memory though. I may have stank at my job, but it was temporary and they lost a fine employee. Feel free to share how you’ve blown job opportunities you never got a fair shake on in the comments section below.
I once got fired for getting into an accident with a work truck.wasnt my fault there was a blizzard going on at the time. And the snow plows lights were completely covered. And how was I to know they were going to stop in front of me? Just because it was 2 am and a little unusual for a frozen pizza delivery truck to be driving…in a blizzard. Of course I had to swerve and was it really my fault it ended up laying on it’s side? Of course the fact I got arrested for DUI didn’t help either. Just one of those things
