I’m inherently self centered, but it’s not something I try to embrace. It’s fucked up, honestly. Sometimes my resources needed applied to a cause that takes away from my self centered goals of lesser importance. I can even throw a fit when I realize the right thing to do is sacrifice for someone else’s benefit. It’s not that I’m not willing to do it, but it’s bullshit I have to do the right thing at my expense because it is the right thing to do. I can be too slow to accept that.
