I agree with many of the criticisms against woke culture. I know kids go through phases. I get why that may not be a time to let a kid get surgery, hormones, etc. I don’t think minors should get boob jobs. I disagree with the woke purists when it comes to children being able to make such decisions. I don’t think kids should serve in the military. They are just kids. I am also against circumcisions of minors, especially without their permission. I don’t think babies, kids and teens should have part of their genitals forcibly amputated.
The extreme right isn’t focused on saving children. This is another, ‘Will somebody please think of the children,’ false rationalization. It’s used to assert authority. Their focus has become completely centred on controlling others. Half of the Republican legislative branch voted to overturn the presidential election. I see what is going on with removing the state representatives of minority communities. The extreme right is attempting authoritarianism. They are moving away from being a democratic republic. I figured Disney would file a free speech claim, but the fact that it is Disney who had to do it, should wake up the right more than it has.
